Are you:

• Juggling a busy career alongside raising a neurodivergent family?

• Holding it all together for everyone else at home and at work?

• Finding it pretty challenging at times?

• Spending little to no time on processing the impact on you, or getting your own needs met?

Helping you to care for yourself while caring for neurodivergent loved ones

Working parents with neurodivergent children or partners often carry an additional logistical, mental and emotional load beyond the everyday challenges of family life.

Good quality resources are increasingly available to help you to better support your neurodivergent family members. However, hardly any tailored help exists for the person holding it all together, even though studies show that such support can make significant improvements to participants’ mental health and wellbeing.

I believe that you are deserving of support too, not just for the roles you fulfil at home and work, but for your own sake.

“ 70% of employees  with a neurodivergent family member say caring responsibilities impact their work — often hidden, increasing stress and burnout risk.”

“ 65% of working parents caring for a neurodivergent child are at higher risk for burnout, versus 33% for parents and caregivers in the workforce overall.”

Parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children are more likely than other parents to experience poor mental health. In a 2025 study, 42% of such parents and carers reported elevated mental health concerns, including anxiety and depression, compared to 22% in the general population.”

What could you get from working with me?

I use a range of psychological coaching tools and techniques to enable you, in a safe and non-judgemental space, to:

1. Explore the impacts, and deepen your understanding of the impacts on you as a human being - not just as a mother, partner, or professional.

2. Use those insights to identify your options - the things most likely to help you in your unique situation.

3. Experiment and reflect, and develop your personalised toolkit of support strategies and techniques.

So you can move on resourced and resilient, getting more of your own needs met.

How would we work together?

I offer:

  • 1:1 coaching, if you prefer private work, or couldn’t commit to the timings of group sessions.

  • Group coaching, in small groups, if you enjoy a group experience and sense of community.

  • Bespoke workshops, in small groups, if you have friends or colleagues in a similar position and want to work together deepen the support you currently provide for each other, as well as for yourself.

All of the above are usually delivered online. In-person sessions can be available upon request (if within reach of my home in Hertfordshire!)
