Who am I?

I am a warm, calm coach who helps stuck or stressed professional women to get back in control. I don’t describe myself as a ‘career’, ‘executive’ or ‘life’ coach because my approach covers all of these.

I have a corporate background, starting my career as a graduate at a Management Consultancy in London and spending the next 20+ years working in a variety of programme, project, process and other change-related roles in medium- to large-sized private-sector organisations. I enjoyed corporate life (most of the time) and always found the people and political parts of the job to be the most interesting and rewarding.

More recently, I have trained in coaching, counselling and psychotherapy with leading providers in each field. My coaching style is psychologically-grounded - I’m really interested in who you are, and how your nature, nurture, life experiences and current circumstances shape the challenges and opportunities you’re facing, whether that is at work or at home. This is the starting point for exploring your available choices and experimenting with actions that will make a real and sustained difference to you. And, of course, our conversations are completely confidential.

As well as working independently, I’m an Associate Coach at Famn, a leading provider of psychologically-grounded coaching and leadership development services.

I live in Hertfordshire with my partner, our two teenagers and a daft dog. When I’m not working my favourite thing to do is get out into the countryside for a leisurely walk, run, swim or cycle with friends.
